AFLATOUN, who we are and what we do?
Aflatoun believes that all children have a right to quality education that inspires them to dream, act, and be the change they want to see in the world. There are 2.2 billion children globally and half live in poverty. Aflatoun teaches children the building blocks to be agents of change for their own development, and we know children can be the drivers for a more equitable world today and tomorrow.
AFLATOUN CONCEPT:
Child Social & Financial Education (CSFE) balances social and financial education with a focus on children. Aflatoun is the little fireball hanging off the logo above. Children who first participated in the programme in India chose the name Aflatoun and the character, based on a Bollywood movie they liked.
AFLATOUN PROGRAMME:
Brings the concept to the children through a balanced curriculum of fun workbooks and activities.
AFLATOUN NETWORK:
Consisting of the implementing partners, who contextualize and implement the Aflatoun programme in their countries, donors, financial institutions, international NGOs, governmental institutions, academic and research institutions.

1. The child must be a bonafide student of the Aflatoun partner schools.
2. Must be a member of Bansalan Coop Laboratory Cooperative
3. 2 pcs. 2×2 ID picture of parent/guardian
4. Photocopy of valid Identification card of parent/guardian
5. Photocopy of child’s birth certificate
6. Completely filled out application form and signature card
7. Initial Deposit of P30.00
8. Savings will earn 2% annually if it reaches P500.00, maintaining balance is P50.00.
9. Must actively participate in all Aflatoun-related activities.
10. No withdrawal is allowed for the first 6 months from opening of account. This is for the purpose of instilling savings habit to the account holder.
YOUTH SAVER CLUB (YS) SAVINGS ACCOUNT
Youth savings account are for children 12 years old and below. Youth savers will enjoy variety of savings rewards when deposits reach a designated amount. Deposits are made at the office or by a coop officer specially arranged by you if you wish to save on a daily basis.
YS REQUIREMENT
1. Must be a member of Bansalan Coop Laboratory Cooperative
2. 2 pcs. 2×2 ID picture of parent/guardian
3. Photocopy of valid Identification card of parent/guardian
4. Photocopy of child’s birth certificate
5. Completely filled out application form and signature card
6. Initial Deposit of P70.00 and opening fee of P30.00
7. Savings will earn 2% annually if it reaches P500.00, maintaining balance is P50.00.
8. Deposit is withdrawable anytime during banking/office hours. Passbook is required in making withdrawals.
9. Must actively participate in all laboratory cooperative activities.
Power teen savings account are for ages thirteen (13) to Seventeen (17) years old. Teens will enjoy various programs that will instill thrift savings habit and fun filled activities.
PTC REQUIREMENT
1. Must be a member of Bansalan Coop Laboratory Cooperative
2. 2 pcs. 2×2 ID picture of parent/guardian
3. Photocopy of valid Identification card of parent/guardian
4. Photocopy of child’s birth certificate
5. Completely filled out application form and signature card
6. Initial Deposit of P50.00 and opening fee of P50.00
7. Savings will earn 2% annually if it reaches P500.00, maintaining balance is P50.00.
8. Deposit is withdrawable anytime during banking/office hours. Passbook is required in making withdrawals.
9. Must actively participate in all laboratory cooperative activities.
An insurance incorporated in the membership requirement of the Bansalan Coop Laboratory Cooperative for their own individual protection.
PROTECTION FEATURES:
1. Covers all insured students against costs of accident injuries or death sustained.
2. Worldwide coverage, 24 hours a day for 365 days.
